I bet this never happened to you!!
So one day a month or so ago, a snow storm found its way thru SE Pa. In the process of clearing the snow, I cut thru the power chord to our Flagstaff 228. Didn't think much of it at the time. Just replaced the chord and moved on.
Fast forward to a few days ago. Getting ready for our first trip of the season, I walked by the trailer and flicked the tongue Jack switch to check the battery and it grunted at me! Tried the roof winch and it was DOA.
OK-so when I cut the chord I blew a fuse on the power converter. So...thinking about this...I need to raise the roof by manually driving the winch; so I can open the door to be able to crawl into the trailer (past all of the camping things we stored in the trailer for the winter) to get to the converter to check to make sure my guess is right about a fuse. Wow - I sure hope that's all it is!!!
Oh how I wish the converter was near the door!

Hopefully your battery will come back to life after being dead for so long.

Can you charge your battery with an external battery charger and then raise your roof electrically?

So far I've pulled the battery and charged it. Seems that is OK, but I was guessing f that the blown fuse was prompting the winch.

If you connect the cable to your TV, it should power your 12V system.

OK - so thanks for the input. After charging the battery, I put it back on the trailer and now the jack and winch have power. But the battery may have been killed! Not enough power to lift the roof! Thewinch being DOA must have been a power level issue! Thanks again!

I know what you meant but I laughed out loud when I read this...
In my mind I'm thinking... "If the OP connects Comcast to their Panasonic, how's that gonna power the 12v system?!"
