I found the easiest way to clean Mold on the Vnyl Canvas inside my HW296
I used the manafactures recommended product to clean mildew and mold ofof of the Vinyl Canavas.
They recommended using West Marine Mildew Stain Remover.
You just spay it on and watch it go away, it's really amazing stuff no scrubbing to get it off at all.

Wow! That worked nicely. I wonder if it works on awnings or vinyl siding. I have been using a bleach dish soap solution which does require some scrubbing.
Nice pictures too.

It says on the bottle it's safe for vinyl. I'm going to try it, as I hate the scrubbing also.

West Marine Mildew Stain Remover
I read this post and did a little online research. My local West Marine has this in stock at the stated 40% off price. BUT, I noticed that they also have Star Brite Mildew Stain Remover at the same price with the same 40% discount, AND an offer for a $5.00 mail in rebate. I noticed too that both products have a 4.7 (out of 5) star rating. I have to wonder... is the West Marine product just Star Brite rebranded? Anyway, I'm going to buy a bottle of each and compare them. Thanks to the OP for posting!

It was like sitting around and watching paint dry once the mildew or Mold is gone just wash it with water only and that's it.
IT was like a Christmas Miracle I was blown away buy the results.
My Nextdoor Neighbor owns a camping store in E Bridgewater MA called Camping USA even she was shocked when I showed it her, she told us we would probably never get it all off. Now I think it's fair she should tell customers about West Marine Mildew Remover and not try and sell someone the stuff she carry's that wouldn't be fair to leave them with not getting all the mold or Mildew off.

I just picked up a bottle and it uses sodium hypochlorite (bleach) and sodium hydroxide (lye). No indication of the % mix. I always used bleach and dish soap, didn’t know about adding lye.

FWIW, I'd been fighting with my awning, mildew and dirt stains on white underside. I got some LA's Awesome cleaner. Spray on, mild wipe, rinse and the awning now looks like new. Bought the larger size at Dollar General for $3 (it's significantly more expensive on Amazon).

Probably star bright, use that on my boat, let it sit couple minutes rinse stains away on fiberglass It is part Acid, read the label.

Not sure my vinyl awning can take any acid like your fiberglass, but thanks for the suggestion.

Manufacturing instructions say that it needs rinsed once applied and dried. Did you do that somehow?

I was skeptical when I read the reviews for this stuff because they all sounded too good to be true, but I bought it anyways to try and get the mold and mildew off of my awning that I have tried to get off for years. Not only did it make the mold and mildew disappear like magic, when I brushed it as I was spraying it off, it removed all of the other different stains from trees and everything else. I bought more the next week to clean my 40’x12’ patio mat which was filthy with mold, mildew and stains from everything over the years and it worked just as well on that. Before doing this I was considering buying a new mat, but now my $600.00 patio mat looks like new.
