Last camping trip I noticed that the air conditioning cord, that you plug into the roof for the AC, had the cable pulling out of the plug cover.
The factory did a terrible job of installing the
cord connector. They left the conductors to long where the connector body couldn't clamp down on the black insulation of the cable and had the individual conductors sticking out of the connector. Then the
weatherproof cover, covers the entire connector so you don't see this. I only seen it when the cable worked it's way out of the cover. Now the individual conductors could be seen out of the weatherproof cover and exposed to rain and water. Also where water could go inside the weatherproof cover now! NOT GOOD!
I took it all apart and redid it and seen the sloppy careless job that the factory had assembled this. The conductors inside were all twisted and had exposed wire strands from 2 of the conductors. I can't believe the conductors didn't short out on each other.
So just a heads up for safety, watch that connector that plugs into the roof for the AC!
