Light burn and wear holes

Please see my previous post for backstory TLDR 2009 Rockwood 2514g bought yesterday for $4500. Wanting advice on fixing it so we don't leave a problem and create a bigger one. Total PUP newbies.

Found a few holes in the canvas. They all appear to have been repaired by painting a Goop/silicone type substrate over the holes, rather than patches. None communicate to the outside currently but they do let the light right thru.

The worst hole is in the bay window tipout. When they put the top down they bumped a light switch which then burned into the canvas and clear cover, not the screen. The light cover is melted.

Because of the mildew noted on the canvas generally I may just do a total overhaul but if a good mildew cleaner (Bass Pro Shop???) and a patching kit would work, that's more budget friendly I bet!

FYI, TJ Snuggles (The tent manufacturer) told me it would be about $1200 + shipping for me to replace all of my tent on a 2016 228D
