Looking for replacement mattress twin for 1640 Esp

Anyone have experience with the 1640 ESP Forest River model, the twin heated mattress has Mold on the bottom of it from previous owner neglect and it doesn’t look salvageable. My wife and I would like to replace the twin with the same heated model or something that is comfortable without being heated. Any recommendations?

Thank you!

Marc

Contact Forest River. Another good source is Robert's RV in Denver. They rent out Flagstaff (same models as Rockwood) pop-ups, and only sell pop-ups and A-frames. As a result, they are a very good source of pop-up parts. I don't think the pop-up models have changed that much over the years.

I think more important than the electric heater (which requires 120v which means you have to have electric at your campsite) is to get a comfortable mattress. Most everybody finds the stock heated mattress is uncomfortable without something added. We added foam toppers to our A-frame stock mattresses, and it makes for very comfortable sleeping.
