Lug wrench Located

I do not recall having or seeing a lug wrench that came with my 2016 Rookwood Premier 2516g. I would assume one comes with the trailer?

Anyone know the top secret spot It may be or have a picture of what it looks like, I assume it looks like a typical lug wrench....

Trailers do not normally come with a lug wrench ( or a jack). Be aware that most TT lug nuts are different from what is on the TV. Determine the correct size then purchase one at you local auto parts store.

Nope, no jack or lug wrench came with the pop up. I keep a breaker bar with a set up sockets and a bottle jack in a tub in the back of the truck.

Bottle jack AND something to put it on - make sure the jack will actually get the wheel off the ground!

That's correct no lug wrench or jack comes with nearly any trailer. I say nearly as there could be a rare company out there, but I doubt it. A spare tire does not either they usually are an option.

Yeah, your right about that. I probably should try it out sometime in the driveway to make sure it does what I need it to do. Fortunately, have never needed it, but would be nice to know it works when you need it to.

A standard lug wrench will not fit or work properly on many rv wheels that is especially true with aluminium wheels since they use acorn type nuts that are longer than the standard lug nut. I would suggest finding the proper size in your driveway or someplace but trying sockets until you determine the proper size. Also many are now metric sizes so you will have to try them also. Then if you have aluminium wheels go to the auto parts dealer and buy that size socket for removal of mag wheel nuts. Then all you have to do is carry the socket and wrench an extension and a bottle jack and a couple of stout boards. Easy peaze.

Remember, the side of a road may not be as friendly as your driveway - I setup to have an extra few inches of lift, just in case!

If you have the lugnuts with the fancy chrome cap, go get 10 solid ones and toss the originals. Corrosion gets under them maki g them swell and a real pita to get off. Just had a blowout and all the preparedness in the world didn't prepare me for that.

The scissor jack for my truck works great. You need a thin wall 4 way for the aluminum rims on my 2516g.

Good luck

And invest in a torque wrench.
