MAC 206 LTD Step replacement

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to replace the folding single step on a 206LTD with a 2 step unit. My wife and I have just signed papers to purchase a new 2018 model. We love the camper but the single step is nearly too much of a reach for my wife. Looking for any input that might be out there on a solution.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. The first step is somewhat large a better solution then taking things apart and replaced replacing the factory step might be buy one of the short camping step stools that have folding legs instead. Many diesel pusher folks use them.

Found an option

Thanks to SeaDog for his input. Decided to go with a 2-step stand alone unit that will work just fine. Has a 7 inch rise for each step. Mama happy again
