Maiden Voyage

Last night was our trial night. = Fail! We got all set up within 30 minutes including the fire. Took a bit to get the furnace to turn on and when it did it ran for about a hour, releveved the rig and it started back up. 1:30am 34* outside it quit again. Tried to level it, no go. No heat! Even when the furnace was on it was Luke warm at best. How do I fix this? Thank you!!

Also try turning off propane valves and turn them back on very slowly

My unit is at the service department getting items done off my wish list so I can't check to see which furnace I have. Sorry...

Does all the other gas appliances work okay? I found that the first time firing up my furnance I had to turn on the stove to get all the air out of the lines first. After that everything worked as designed. Hope this helps.

Thoughts for you:

Propane flow:
-Check all other LP systems - stove and HWH. As Ron asked above, are they running normally?
-Are your tanks full?
-Did you open the tanks slowly?
-Could have a little moisture in the propane tanks and, at the temps you were camping at, the regulator might freeze up.

Power:
-Were you on battery or AC? If the battery is low, it might not have enough power to run the fan fast enough anymore to activate the furnace's sail switch or possibly to run the thermostat correctly.

Bad control board:
-If you reset the furnace by turning it off then on again and it works for a while before turning off then I would guess it’s could be a bad control board.

Bad thermostat? Consider replacing with a digital.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

I also notice that your trailer is a 2007 so it could be six years old. A burner that is clogged with soot or dirty might be a problem with the low temps you felt when it did work.

Below is a manual for your furnace.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but are you sure that you have propane in the tanks?

Could well be. Check it out. I'm not sure how to do this yourself. I know it involves a manometer, which I don't have so I'd go to my dealer.

It wouldn't be the first time. In fact, I've done this
