Never Used Shower in Rockwood 2280BHESP
I'm going to actually use the wet shower this weekend and wanted to know if the water pump that feeds the shower can work off propane or battery? My generator is busted and i won't be able to take camping. Any suggestions?

It works off of the battery. At least mine does.

Welcome aboard......I’m thinking you’re a newbie?
Anyway......the onboard pump uses the 12 volts from your battery to run. The hot water is created in your tank using propane for fuel, but also battery for the spark. You may even have electric heated water depending on the make of your water heater.
As long as you have propane and a strong battery, you’re good to go.

There is no such thing as a propane-powered water pump, in RVs. It is 12v battery powered.
The only thing propane is used for, is heating.
That would be the stove, water heater and furnace. The furnace fan is 12v battery powered also.

Just be sure your battery(ies) are fully charged before heading out.
With no generator and no hook-ups, it doesn't take long to deplete the battery of its useful charge if you aren't conservative with your usage.

The other thing that hasn't been mentioned yet. Something that is commonly referred to as Navy showers. Water on, wet down, then water off and soap up. Water on to rinse off then done. Your water heater is small and adequate to get the job done but there is no such thing as long hot showers in a camper. Especially if you aren't using full hookups. Your fresh water tank is limited and your drain grey water tank is limited. Very quick showers, to the point. Works very well.
