I find it better to get a separate screen house or a pop up awning with wall, than an add a room.
If it gets windy real quick from a thunderstorm coming in, that add a room is going to take forever to get off and get awning rolled up and put away to avoid damage from winds.
With a separate screen house or awning with walls, it not near the camper to damage it and these usually only take minutes to get down.
When I had a 2005 Rockwood Freedom 2290 that came with an add a room, I wasn't impressed with it and never used it.
