No DC power

I'm taking my 2002 Rockwood pop up out for the second time. I will be using battery power only. My question (dumb one) is do I have to turn a converter onto DC? If so, where can I find the converter? I'm asking because I think I have a charged battery. I can't turn on any interior lights or the water pump when not plugged into AC power. Any help is appreciated. Meanwhile, I'll be getting the battery checked. Thanks.

NO... your converter will not come into play on your trip if you have no shore power or generator. Converter converts 120 to DC and to run your 12 V when plugged in.

Either your battery is dead if nothing on 12 V side is working.... or all fuses are blown, or your battery is disconnnected.

I am not aware that you can "turn a coverter to DC".

If your battery is the original or you have a newer one that has not been disconnected while in storage, then your battery is dead. If original just replace it. The converter takes the 120VAC from shore power and creates 12VDC. If you do not have shore power then your converter will not charge the battery. Take the battery to an auto store and have it load tested. When not using it, you need to either shut off the battery disconnect switch or disconnect the negative side of the battery.
Good Luck
