OEM complete awning replace
Is it possible to order OEM frame and canvas from FR or only aftermarket one available?
Made the mistake of thinking the awning was angled good for rain this morning until the crash of the cross bar folding happened.

Would hope I can order OEM since it is only 1 year old. May need to ask local dealer or call FR directly I guess.

Forest River does not make the awning. You may be better off going to the manufacturer of the awning.

Yeah, its probably Dometic like I said I was just pointing to the dometic site since I don't know what kind he has exactly.
As has been said find out who made it, contact that manufacturer. If I needed suburban parts for my heater or water heater I would call suburban parts dealers not FR.

if the fabric is good, you can order just the frame from dometic. i had bent ours when i had the HW277.

Awning
The HW277 is a 13 foot awning. Yours might be Dometic and might not. FR stopped using Dometic for their awnings around 2020. If you contact FR they can tell you who the manufacturer of the awning was from your VIN number.

Thought about that but there is a couple small holes and already some patches so guess I’ll get the whole thing.

As a follow up called Forest River they sent a quote for $440 plus shipping but they didn’t know what shipping would be. Local FR dealership got it for $350 but it was $150 shipping. So $530 shipped with tax.

You didn't say which brand and model of awning it was. It might help another member in the future.

They never gave me a name of the manufacture.
FR gave me a part number of: F100032143 – 13’ awning – color – onyx w/ black bag
I’ll reply again when the part comes in and what is on the box.

Should say Dometic or Thule on the outside.

Update. The awning was delivered and it is dometic 13’ for the 2020 HW277 apparently. Haven’t taken it out yet. Will try to install tomorrow.

If its anything like prior bag awnings there are just two screws holding it from sliding in the track and you just slide the old out out and the new one it.
Two people make it light work.
