Partially raising popup

We just got in from our maiden voyage with our new pop-up, a Rockwood HW277. Everything went great!

It did rain, and while I was able to wipe everything down and get it dry as far as I can tell, I would like to open it up to dry out better. Problem it is starting to rain and there is rain in the forecast for the next week.

I store the camper in the garage, and can easily open it about 15".

Would it hurt the winch to open the camper 12-15" while in the garage?

That is a best practice. I did the same thing today. Run a fan or three.

Same, have had to do this. I just pull the tent fabric out of the ends/sides and run a fan.

Thanks for the responses, I have it opened up about 15" with the tent material pulled out a bit and a fan running inside.
