picking up our new pop up

We pick up our new flagstaff pop up this saturday. I know they'll go over things with us, but are there any things we should make a point of asking, or things to have them go over in detail?

thanks, joe

That's great. Have fun and my best advice is to go over everything with a fine tooth comb. This will take some time so it pays to let the tech know you plan to test every system -lift, beds, hitch, power (A/C and D/C), all plumbing, heater, air cond., stove, and fridge. You get the idea. Also, have them show you the location and size of every fuse throughout the camper. Its been awhile since my pup days, but this goes for any type of trailer.

There are PDI checklists on this site and elsewhere.

Have a good one!

Congrats on your Pup!

Yes, make a "list" prior to going. Ask about EVERYTHING and ask how EVERYTHING WORKS. I'm sure they will show you too. As they show you something, ask for more details about it, if needed. No question too dumb, and now would be the time to ask for clarification.
Also do your own independent inspection as well. Take your time.

Don't forget to ask about the Warranty and Service, if ever needed.

Good luck and have fun with your new Pup.

We just picked up ours a few weeks ago and the dealer went through everything on the inside and out. Double check the spare tire bolts, one of ours was missing the nut which fell off and in the spare tire cover and the other was loose.

If you have a power lift, also have them show you how to crank it manually. Double check all the cushions, we found that one of ours had a tear in the fabric and it will be replaced (our model was the last 208 MAC and was the interior demo model)

Good luck! Have Fun!

Main thing that always gave me a problem was remembering when to unzip the awning. Also....might want to check if screens are installed on your heater vents, etc. They keep the bugs out....main thing is go out and enjoy...

Lots to learn and fun to be had. Practice makes perfect (nearly anyways)
