Picture of HW296 hitch area please.

Hello,

I noticed that there are comments eluding to Rockwood designing the front A frame to better accommodate an equalizer hitch. I currently own an equalizer and would be interested in a picture of the front and what Rockwood has done.

Does anyone else here use an equalizer? Any issues mounting them?

For my older HW I needed to have a guy weld the equalizer bracket to the frame. We could not mount it due to the plate steel and the propane tank placement. I am hopeful that such a drastic measure is not needed on the next pop up that I am considering.

Any pictures that someone could take for me and post would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Vin.

Here is a picture of mine. It is set-up for a round-bar weight distributing hitch and a friction sway bar.

Thanks so much Bob for taking the time to snap the photo for me. It is worth a 1000 words. lol.

It looks like there is an opening below the tanks in the plate steel. It also looks like the tanks have been mounted on a raised pedestal. I had to do this same mod myself. I just used pressure treated blocks to raise it up so that I could mount the outerplate. Interesting. I think I am beginning to understand.

If anyone has a picture of an equalizer hitch mounted, that would be ideal.

Thanks again Bob.
