Post your TV mock ups for pop ups

I need to add a small TV to my '18 Flagstaff SE (228BHSE) and am looking for ideas on how y'all mounted them. Would love to see pics and description of how you did it.

Please no discussion on whether there should or there shouldn't be a TV while camping, I have 2 teenage boys and when my boyfriend goes, he has 2 teenage girls. TV is sometimes essential in bad weather with teens! LOL.

If you have not already purchased the tv, be sure to actually watch it at the angle you expect to have in the PUP. Many small low end tv's are impossible to view at much of an angle off 90 degrees.

I no longer have a PUP but when I did I had a small tv/dvd player combo from WalMart. No permanent mount and come travel time I wrapped it in a blanket and laid in in the potty cabinet area.

The set up is packed in the trailer rt now. Leaving for a camping trip tomorrow. Will get better pics for you in the next couple of days.

This is a pic of our 32" I hang from the ceiling. Can face either bunk or the dinette. Also in the same pic is my collapsible counter that utilizes the couch space we never use. It folds down under the couch cushions if we need the extra sitting space. The drawers are plastic from Walmart. Also added an outlet behind the couch back for appliances. Laminating it to match the other counter tops this weekend.

I have a similar TV mount. Wasn’t sure how much weight I could hang from the roof and where, so I haven’t gotten a TV or installed the mount yet. How did you mount yours?

Where does that get stowed when you bring the top down

Sides are hinged and fold in and the whole think lays down flat on the couch base. The cushions can be placed on top as normal. Only adds 1.5" of height to base so it all fits.

This looks awesome. Looks like you ran the cable upward and added a jack there mounted to that white plate? Where did you get the tv mount? Does the tv stay mounted and folded when traveling or do you have to remove it to put the pup down?

I bought the TV mount from Amazon... Impact Mounts Folding Ceiling Tv Mount Bracket Lcd Led Great for Rvs Motor Homes (17-37" Screens)
Sold by: FreeShipMounts. I believe it was around $35.00.
The cable jack comes with King Jack antenna, it's hooked directly to the antenna. You need to run 12v power to it, I just ran around the ceiling behind the curtains and down the chase in the canvas along with the existing wiring. I also moved the Catv jack next to the 110 outlet by the door so I can hook up to that when I'm at a campground with cable tv.
The TV is permanently mounted and ready to go, it's a 24" tv so it is rather light. The mounting plate on the inside is screwed through the roof to the mounting plate for the antenna effectively sandwiching the roof in between then.
