Power question?

I have a 2013 freedom 1970 pop up, my question is about the 12 v power source for the interior lights. How is it that it also uses shore power when hooked up and not 12v source?¿???

Do your interior lights work when not plugged into shore power

If I understand the question, you want to know how the lights work on only the shore power? I assume you disconnected the battery and connected to shore in order to notice this.

Well, that part's not really that important. What is important is that you're getting your power from the converter. The converter is the unit that turns shore power into 12v in order to recharge your batteries and provide 12v power in the trailer.

Suggest you Google "the 12 volt side of life 1&2".
should be required reading for all rv owners.
It'll help you understand the electrical stuff, both 12v and 120v.
