I’ve got a 2015 HW296 hasn’t been used 10-15 times. The power lift would lower but not raise when I arrived at camp last night. Luckily a buddy lived close by and brought me a drill to lift it up. Should I always bypass it? Or try to repair?
You question is sort of a personal choice one. Myself I like things to work as designed so I would fix/replace it with that said if you are happy with doing a work around go for it.

Hasn’t happened since I got auto level on new trailer but being out in rain doing what I paid extra money for because it something didn’t work would drive me crazy. On my last TT first trip in rain rear stabilizer wouldn’t function at all. It was cold dark and raining . I was soaked cold and pissed by the time I had them down( I was still new to trailer life would have waited otherwise). When I pulled camp 4 days later worked fine loose ground easy fix
