Privacy tent/shower/toilet

Hi everyone!

I have a ESP 1970 and have an external shower but this model did not have the toliet inside to save space. I have a good portable one. Just curious if anyone has tried to have a pop privacy tent to the side of the camper that can be used as a shower as needed or an outhouse as needed. Has anyone done this? Thoughts?

When we had our Coleman Utah pop up we used an out side tent, I think it was called Tee Pee, and kept a porta potty in it. Just used it at night.

We no longer have a popup, but we use a shower/utility tent outside our fifth wheel when we are at the beach. We locate it at our outdoor shower to spray the sand off and to change out of our beach clothes without taking all the same inside with us.

We purchased it at Walmart for less than $50.

These Roll Up and Roll Out potty tents SUCK. They have no structure and the wind blows them down even when tied out with additional rope. I'd show you the video of it blowing over but Flicker.com wants our money but can't fix it's site so that the videos can play.

This is a Bass Pro Shops potty tent but the same one sells under many names. RUN, don't walk away from this GARBAGE!

I have a Walmart Ozark Trail potty tent, it's a 2005 model that I bought when I had the 2005 Rockwood 2290 Pop Up. That potty tent uses actual poles and has a rain fly. It works great just takes some time to setup but well worth it.

I will warn you with the Ozark trail tents, don't hang one of those solar showers from it's ceiling. Even though they advertise them able to do this, they can't and ripped the first tent I had. I bought another, the same one, and used a bucket and a battery powered shower. You can warm the water in the solar shower then poor it in the bucket. Or warm the water on a stove or fire (much faster).

When I hunt I have used the pop up deer blind as privacy for the 5 gallon bucket. It works great no floor and lots of options for ventilation

We have a little A-frame rolling tent and no room to set up the cassette toilet it came with. And we didn't want to hassle with that anyway. So I carefully shopped around and did research, eventually buying an extra large and tall Holla Yella privacy tent - YouTube has some videos on it. After learning how to open and fold it, we took it on the road. There were two major issues with a pop-up tent. Number 1, if it's windy outside you can forget it! Even with heavy duty stakes, it was hard to keep it up. Number 2, a lot of campgrounds don't have the right kind of soil (or any soil at all) to stake the tent. This tent doesn't have a bottom to it - I didn't think I'd want one - but maybe if you got a tent with a bottom attached, it could be weighted down. But then you'd have to deal with a lot of cleaning it out. Anyway, in the middle of the night I ended up using the honey bucket inside the camper, which was an okay solution.
