Propane

We have a full tank but our fridge, grill and stove aren't getting any propane. We have a Rockwood 2716g.

Turn the gas off at the tanks. Select one tank by turning your selector valve on the regulator. S L O W L Y open the gas valve. Go inside and using a gas match try lighting one stove top burner. It can take up to a minute for the gas to purge the air out of the system. Once it is burning, you will be able to light the refer off.

Any time you turn on propane in a new system or after changing tanks, the pressure in the lines in the RV will be zero. Turning on the tank quickly allows a rush of propane into the lines until the pressure builds. The free flow protector built into the tanks thinks this is a free flow situation and shuts off the propane. Using the procedure above will reset the free flow preventer.
