Pulled The Trigger.....

Finally did it! A 2011 Rockwood 232XRT. I am not sure what the 'T' stands for but we really like it. Take delivery at the end of the week. I am sure there will be several items we will need to purchase once it is sitting in the driveway.

Look forward to all of the ideas found here and what we need to do to enhance the 'experience'.

Thanks for the 'Welcomes'.

Ragin Cajun - What part of Louisiana you from? I lived in Lake Charles for about three years. Ex-family there now. Loved the people and the food - Didn't care for the weather. Next year around September we are supposed to be heading to New Orleans - Geaux Tigers!!!!! (Sorry I have become a Duck, Tigers have moved to second)

Congrats on your new home-away-from-home. If this is your first camper, count on about another $50 - $100 in additional gear. Lots of good ideas here and over at pupupportal.com in their forums.

I got a call from the dealer today and said they were going to be sending it to get detailed. It sounds like they do not do it in their service department or in house. I guess what I am worried about is if they are using an outside detail service that the could possibly clean the canvas with a harsh chemical. Should I call the dealer tomorrow and ask them to not have the canvas cleaned and clean it myself if needed?
