Rockwood 1720 Lift System Help

I just acquired a 1993 Rockwood 1720 pop-up. The roof lift mechanism works but does not stay in the upright position. Does anyone know where I can get an exploded view of the lift mechanism so that I can better understand how it works what is the brand of the mechanism.

Thanks,
-Andrew

Have you tried contacting Forest River? Or maybe a Forest River dealer, their service dept maybe could guide you to what you need?

Yea. I went to the dealler where it was sold when new. The parts counter people told me. It was to old and I should buy a new camper. They were no help at all. I'm going to try getting ahold of Forest River directly.

I think I might actually have what you are looking for. I have a 1993 2360 that using a chain drive lift mechanism. This is a time before the company had been sold to Forest River.
When I bought mine used, about 13 years ago, someone was nice enough to email me a copy. If you will send me a message and your email, I will see what I can do to get it copied. I am not a tech person, so it might take me a little time to get it done, plus for some reason I have to work for a living. Just let me know and give me a week or so.
