Rockwood Tent Trailer King Slide Out Collapse

Hello,

I have a 2018 Rockwood 282 TESP. I bought it used this summer. Second use and the front bed (King) collapsed. Looking further and it appears the support brace is bent and the metal trim where the brace is supposed to seat itself is damaged. Under pressure, the brace pops out.

Any similar experiences or repair suggestions? For now, I am using slide stabilizers and a 2X4 to support the bed but I'd like a permanent fix. I am inquiring about replacement parts but I am concerned about the cost.

Oh geez that sounds terrible, sorry to hear that! Could it be anything to do with the front wall flexing? Rockwood/Flagstaff's are know to have that issue, It's happening with my 2018 HW27KS, it's where the wall that the bed bracing attaches to, is not built strong enough to to take the weight of the bed (thanks for that Forest River!!!!) Check inside where any cabinets meet the walls to see if you have any separation, this is the tell tale sign of the wall flexing. Some members here have added extra bracing to stop it getting any worse.
