Rockwood tenting changing to cotton canvas?

Hello everyone,

I noticed that on my 2015 unit, the tenting material on the sides of the bunk ends are cotton canvas. It is only the window panels that you unzip for fresh air. It is not the same material as the top or sides. My old unit had 100% vinyl coated fabric. This here seems to be a breathable cotton canvas. I hope it holds up in the rain. It does not seem particularly thick either. My dad always bought canvas tents when we tented. This fabric seems thinner than that.

Has anyone noticed this? Is the same true for the 2015 Hybrid campers?

Vin.

My 2012 did and my 2014 does..........works fine. I spray waterproofing on it once a season......never had an issue so far.

Yeah. That is a good idea to give it a quick spray of waterproofing just in case.

It towed pretty easy with my Trailblazer. It was also empty and I did have my Equalizer hitch hooked up. I need a new shank because the Tahoe rides higher than the trailblazer. I need more of a drop on the ball.

I have heard that a dual axle will track better behind you than a single axle. It did tow well so maybe that is true.
