I have a 2012 Rockwood HW277 and would like to find out what maretial the roof is so I ca wash and prep it for resealing correctly. Forest River sent me some info on taking care of the fiberglass sides but nothing on the roof. Suggestions please?
I use Simple Green diluted 2:1, soft-bristle automotive brush, then wax and buff to seal using an orbital buffer. We have some sort of tree seeds in Minnesota that are sticky as all get out; if they stay on the roof even for a day they leave a stubborn yellow stain that I'm loath to rub too hard for fear or removing paint. Consequently my roof looks spotty even when clean. I wonder how much it would cost to get it repainted?
