Roof rack install

Has anyone installed roof racks on a Rockwood 2318g? My 2022 came with the outdoor package which shows online to include the racks but these weren’t included. I’m not sure if having the ac unit on the roof somehow interfered. What do you screw the racks into, wood, metal, etc? I wasn’t sure if the top had joists or not?

Might want to check with the dealer if it was supposed to?

There are left to right beams but I would never drill a hole in the roof personally

Yes, your 2318g should had the roof rack. I was considering the purchase of a 2318g, 2516g. and the 2716g. All had roof racks.

Now the 2318ESP doesn't have roof racks because there's a solar panel in the area instead.

However, to add any, I would think you would need support members in the roof to attach the racks to. Otherwise you are just attaching to Styrofoam and thin fiberglass sheeting.
