Roof won't lift
The electric motor for the winch on my 2005 forest river flagstaff pop up quit. I got a new winch and motor works and got the lift cable set attached. When I went to put the top up the cable pulled out of the set screw. I tried several more times but as soon as I get the roof up about 6" the cable pulls out. As far as I can tell there is something holding the cable underneath in the long track that he's the 4 conduits coming into it. I have tried to take a look under the camper but cannot find the problem. I don't have an owners manual that may help and the dealer I bought it from used from is not much help. I noticed the grease nipples and was never told to grease anything.
