Separate amber blinker / brake "adapter".

I have a 2013 Rockwood Freedom, used. There has been some modifications (for example, the brake lights are LEDs, but the running lights are incandescent).

I have a standard 7-pin connector and have used a device to verify the TV functionality.

Most everything on the TT works. Brakes, brake lights, right turn, left turn, reverse, etc. Except, when I turn on the running lights/headlights the TV reports a wiring failure (only when connected to TT, not with the testing device).

While the running lights / headlights are on and the TV reports a wiring failure, things still "mostly" works. AFAICT all the running lights come on and lights "work" but the blinkers now run 2x as fast (on both TV and TT). I don't recall seeing a license plate light on the modified LED brake light housing, but that is something I will double check next time I have it out.

Finally, when reading the Freedom user manual there is a section that suggests I need an "adapter": Page 23 "If your tow vehicle has a separate amber turn signal, it will require a special adapter to allow your camper lights to function properly. This adapter may be purchased from your dealer."

Well, my TV DOES have separate amber turn signals, and the TT blinker/brakes don't (they are just red). Suggesting I need an "adapter".

I haven't found such an adapter by googling. What I have found are generic 3/2 wire kits that require splicing or running additional wiring.

Next weekend I'll check and troubleshoot if the brake light is there and not working ... the lights are well calked with dicor so not too eager about pulling them off.

I was hoping to find an "adapter" which suggests something that maybe plugs in between the 6 pin cable on the TT.

If you have trouble shooting tips or know what adapter I may need please let me know.

Not: I have pulled all the standard bulbs out (except the brake LEDs) and everything is great until turning on the running lights and then it reports wiring failure and blinking is 2x.
