Sheets?

So the smaller mattress in our new camper measures 48 x 80. Any ideas on where to source sheets? Do most folks just throw a sleeping bag on top?

We bought some rv sheets from here:

https://www.ablifestyles.net/

Definitely nice quality. They have a lot odd sizes or you can give them a call if you don't find the size you need listed.

That's a "three-quarter queen mattress".

Will the five inches shorter still work since there is extra material because the mattress is thinner?

Buy a Queen set , or a flat queen sheet, and tuck it under. It's only 12" longer than what you're needing. Queen sheets measure 60 x 80.

I would expect so. Like many others who have replied, we have the "full size" RV Queen and deal with the extra 5 inches by folding the excess length under the mattress. Because you are also dealing with a significantly larger difference in width, it may be worth getting the 3/4 queen sets.

Check this site. They show 48X80 sheet sets.

Just add your size in the drop downs.

I bought Jersey sheets because they're super stretchy. Then if you need more help making them stay, I bought some sheet suspenders that have like 8 attachments hooked to a ring. It seems to work pretty well for me.

Go ahead and get the wider ones. You'll be getting a mattress topper or new mattress pretty soon anyway. :-)

Very hard to sheet/blanket our "short" queen in our Coachmen Concord 300TS. Early on we were turned on to "Beddy's"..!! They are like a sleeping bag fully zipped so easy to remove/replace/wash/install the 2 parts. Go here to look: https://beddys.com/
You can find them on sale different places (like Amazom, etc)..........Ken

Sheets? We don't need no stinking sheets!

Fitted flannel sheet over the mattress to keep it clean. Sleeping bag "thrown over" that. Takes less time to "make the bed" than it did to type this.

Sheets

Hey Chuck, can I assume you are single? Doesn't exactly scream romance if you aren't? If so, you might want to rethink the flannel and the sleeping bag. Otherwise the DW might just zip you up in it

I have had travel trailers and pop ups. Pops are easier to find sheets for but being a mattress is only 4" thick, you still have to tuck a lot.

For a 48" wide, just get a full size sheet, 60" wide, a queen obviously, a 67" - 70" wide, a King. You'll have to tuck regardless because of how thin the mattresses are. Don't overpay for custom sizes when normal sheets work just fine.

See you're from Middlebury. My favorite restaurant is Das Dutchman Essenhaus.

Mike, my office is in the Coachmen headquarters in Middlebury, and we have a site where we stay on the complex when we're not on the road.

Love Essenhaus, and Bob and Sue Miller who own it -- although the next generation have taken over a lot of the operation -- are terrific folks who are also great benefactors to the town of Middlebury and its residents.

There are several good Mom and Pop places in town, too, like Esther's Hilltop Diner and Jerry's Margarita's Mexican Restaurant.
