Should roof ac be dripping?

First time out in our 2021 fr 2318g. I had a new 13,500btu dometic roof ac installed. So its day 2 of camping here in Central fl. The roof ac has been on high since we got here and is working great. But noticed no condensation dripping out anywhere. Like a normal house /window ac that drips. Is this normal for this type of roof ac? Nothing leaking inside or outside.
Thanks Dave

What is the outdoor temperature and humidity? The amount of condensation coming from the AC would depend on that. Perhaps the humidity is low, and if the sun is shining, it’s drying from your roof before it drips off.

You should probably call the people who installed that ac and ask if that's a normal condition.

At 50% humidity, it probably won't have much condensation, I don't think there is a issue, Being your in Florida it probably won't be long b4 you get some humid weather.

Have you got up on the roof to see if there is any condensate?

We have the 2516g Rockwood Premier and live/camp in Florida throughout the year. Our AC unit drips all the time. It usually travels down one of the rear roof corners then down the top seam of the bunk canvass to the ground.

The only time there is no condensation is when the outside air is cooler than the inside of the camper which is almost never in Florida.

I would see if the water is pooling on top of the roof and not draining off. Also, make sure the drain holes in the AC unit are not clogged. Not to scare you but check it’s not draining inside the roof were the seal secures to the roof.

You can take the plastic cover off where the AC/fan/on/off switch is and look up where the seal is and feel around. If it’s wet then that may be your issue. Prior to taking the cover off, make sure the AC is turned off and unplugged for obvious reasons.

So was able to remove the inside cover/controls. Found water dripping down from the one corner drip pan bolt area. Guess it filled the drip pan and was weeping out of the bolt hole. Now to get home and find out why this new unit is not dripping properly. My only thought is that I leveled the camper, after I slide out the dinette area it was off level by few degrees. Maybe drip hole is on one side and wasn't draining properly.

Or a clogged drain hole from leaves or other debris.

So after getting home, I removed the top cover, followed the drip channels down and found the tech who installed it forgot to remove the drain plug....problem solved.
Glad I found it. Thanks everyone for the tips.

Yes I say they do thats way you have those little gutters on the roof to kept the water from running down the sides

Glad you found the problem - next issue will be that the water will run down the roof, across the canvas and drip off the end - leaving a wet tent every trip - my tent ends seams were developing that pink bacterial water scum they were wet so often

so you may want to look at attaching a J-channel to the roof edge just over the tent ends to act as a gutter and deflect the runoff away from the tent.

Great idea, or maybe a temp 1/2" aquarium hose with a fitting i could just position where I want it to drip off.
Thanks
