Do you still have door clearance from the awning? The Dometic awning we have will be caught by the door if we don't have the legs on the ground. Thanks to this, we have a pin sized hole above the door :-(

They make a repair tape for awnings,,,
I used it all the way across an old awning a couple of years back !!!

Is this what your worried about, my yellow lab about 4 days ago.
He heard some kids in the woods next to us, my dog ran around the Back of my HW296 pulled out the power cord from the power hook up at the campground I'm at, then ran around under the awning his lease was wrapped once around the pole, he heard the kids going down the road using a clicker for dogs.
so my dog went after that noise and bent the pole for the awning near the bottom.
My son tried to straighten it but it broke off.
