Small tank under HW277 with no drain plug/valve

So, my wife and I just took our new HW277 out for its second trip. On the first trip, we had a number of issues, including a leak in the outdoor kitchen that caused water to get inside the camper. We also noticed on the last day of our camp back in June that water was coming out of a small black tank near the black water and gray water valves under the camper. The tank does not appear to have any lines going into it and has a hole in the middle of it (for draining). We assumed that this leak was related to the leak in the outdoor kitchen.

Fast forward to this weekend. We didn't even use the outdoor kitchen and had the same issue (the leaky outdoor kitchen issue was fixed under warranty by our dealer). Anyone have any idea what this small tank is and why it has no drain valve? Is it leaking because we are filling up the gray tank? The tank doesn't show full on the sensor, and I cannot imagine that we are really filling the tank in 36 hours by brushing teeth and doing dishes once.

Next question, are you hooked to city water or off of tanks?

City water, and I’ll try to get a picture tonight. I’ve already moved the trailer back to storage.

I remember that small black box, under our hw277. i think it was a cover for the shower drain plumbing but not totally certain about that. It was not a tank.

I think that’s exactly what it is, but why would water be coming out?

I don't remember if there were any fresh water pipes in there that supplied the shower, but I suspect that is the case and there may be a leak.

If the little black "tank" you are talking about sits directly under the shower, then its a cover for the shower trap. If water is leaking out from there then you have a loose fitting or missing washer in the trap or the pipe running to the grey water tank. You have 2- 6 gal grey water tanks interconnected and it doesn't take much to fill them up.

That's it. I guess I need to take that cover off and see what I can see!

Had an HW27SC and it had a black pan over the shower drain plumbing. Never had a problem, but that is what it was.
