Thoughts and Help

So I bought a brand new pop up camper not even a year ago. I thought it would be a great idea for my family to enjoy time together one on one and so on and so forth. Well my dear husband wasn’t very excited. Now we are separated and he is not financially helping me at all with our daughter and I am stuck with a camper that I cannot tow or afford due to us having to move out. How does one go about selling it? Out of everything I have going on, I have to deal wit this and it is super stressful.

What state do you live in. In Texas there a couple of places that could sell you trailer on consignment.

So sorry that happened to you and disappointing that you can't continue to camp. We sold our pop-up by posting it on RVTrader but selling yourself will just add to your stress. I am in Florida and there are places here that would sell on consignment, too, or perhaps a trusted friend or relative would do you a solid and sell it for you on RVTrader. Best of luck to you.

I posted my last rig on Craigslist and sold it in a week. Priced correctly, it will sell fast.

First my wife and I are interested in getting a camper now. If interested in selling yours let us know. We are in the Hammond area of Louisiana. We are currently looking at a used 2009 HW29SC, but un decided at this point. What model camper do you have? We are interested if you are selling.

I live in Shreveport. I bought a Sports Enthusiast Package Flagstaff 228BHSE with shower/port-a-Pottie. I also had a 28x84 front deck storage with expanded metal decking added. It looks exactly like below! I also had an air conditioning unit put in as well. I paid 13k for it not even a year ago and it has only been used maybe 3 or 4 times. It comes with all kinds of camping stuff I bought for it! I would be willing to sell for 10k. I know I would be upside down but now as a single mom I just can’t keep it in my budget and just need out from under it as this point.

Shreveport, Louisiana? Your bio says Alabama. You might want to list it in the classified section.

I just went to rvguide , and I would have no issues towing it with my truck. But it says that it has no shower/ toilet, and no holding tanks just fresh water. So thank you very much but we are going to have to pass up your deal.

So back to your question on where to sell it, you will have great luck using face book market place or Louisianasportsman.com
Hope that helps.

I assure you it has a toilet a shower. It even has a shower compartment outside on the backside and it has a fresh water holding tank and a grey water tank. I’m pretty high maintenance and there would be no way I’d camp without both... I’ll post it on that site though. Thanks.

Folks, that is one fine little camper. I had a 2010 model about like it and loved it. Tows like a dream, parks easy, setup in 10 minutes or less with practice.

I apologize was only going by what rvguide had on their site. Anyway I watched the video and it just comes up short of what we need.
I am sure you will sell it soon on the sites I mention as well as the other sites people here suggested. Looks like we are leaning towards the HW29SC but I need advice on the fresh water tank question I posted about 5 treads down.

Anyway Happy 4th July.
