Under awning fan options

Hey, ya'll! I'm sure others in the Midwest are "enjoying" the 90+ degree days while camping like us. My question is what others have tried to stay cool while outside under the awning. A consistent breeze would help quite a bit. Looking for ideas on moving quite a bit of air in the widest area possible while also being as quiet as possible. I could do a box fan, but they are pretty loud. Saw some air movers that are probably quieter, but may be too concentrated of an air flow (i.e. person A would be nice and chill, person B would still be sweating). What have others tried and found successful?

We use a box fan. Although a bit noisy it does move the air.

If there's no breeze, bringing your own is the right idea...bring 2!

my brother and I share a property that has 4 camp sites on it. He has a 42" fan he uses on his job sites. he puts this on one end and blows it across the parking area. works pretty nice, and its far enough away its not loud. does a great job keeping the bugs down.

I also have used a small 18" fan under the RV blowing air out across our legs as we sit and watch TV in the side cabinet. also keeps the bugs moving.

I have a pair of 20 inch fans that I use when the heat is up. They are a bit more expensive as they have quality plastic housings so they will not rust. They are not as loud as the typical $20 box fan. The brand is Holmes.

Menards sells a 16 inch hanging fan that works well in a EazyUp type canopy. Have also seen a box fan suspended from one as well.

Portable Fan

I use a Ryobi 18V fan model P3320, you can use a battery or plug it in.
Moves those bugs along! I like the portability, whether grilling, sitting under the awning, or at the picnic table.

We have a tall (~36-40") vertical oscillating fan that we use for all outdoor situations. It works well for us, and the rotation allows it to move the air over a radius of about 6-8'.

I searched the forum but couldn’t find it again. I seem to recall someone mounting a fan on the outdoor TV mount.
