Unhappy Vent Fan Not Working

I have a 2004 Rockwood Freedom (Model 1980). Plugged in to electrical in my driveway, vent fan is not working but the ceiling lights work fine. I checked the fuse and even replaced it. Any ideas?

Wondering if I missed something. I replaced the safety switch when I first bought it and fan/lights were working.
Also, can anyone recommend a mfgr of new fan should this one be fried?

Have you tried the fan with the ceiling light on?

In many rigs, for reasons unknown, the vent fan is only powered with the ceiling light ON. If you want the vent fan ON and light OFF, you have to turn the light off with the little switch on the light fixture.

UPDATE: Just noticed you have a Pup. What I stated above probably doesn't apply (although it might.)

Nevermind. Ends up it was the spring loaded safety switch on top. It had rusted shut. Little WD40 and it all back working. :-)

Funny the light still worked, but not the fan.

I think the OP meant the safety switch in the fan cover. This switch won't let the fan come on unless the cover is open enough. My A-frame has both the safety switch in the fan housing, and the roof safety switch that turns off fan and lights if the roof is closed.

Got it. Yeah, I thought he meant the roof safety switch.
