Exclamation Water Heater tank shut off valves on 232esp

Hello, I recently purchased a 232esp rockwood Freedom and was in the process of dewinterizing and could not get the hot water tank to fill. After hours of head scratching and torment, I finally found the shut off valves underneath the dinette seat!! I had to remove a screw from the plywood seat to access the back of the tank. My complaint is that nowhere in the manual, or any online sites does it say what to do to open the valves on this model.

I hope this saves others the crap I had to go through to figure this out.
