Water Pump - First Problem of Spring Solved
When I de-winterized my camper I noticed I didn’t have a whole lot of water pressure. I thought maybe it was because I didn’t have a filter installed yet. However, I got to a campsite this afternoon with a new filter and my water pump was running constantly and not pressurizing the system. After following instructions to prime the pump (remove the screen next to the pump and pour water into it), it still did not pressurize. I finally figured out that when I removed the inlet to add the winterizer I cross-threaded it putting it back on, thus creating a leak in the system. I threaded the hose properly and sure enough I have water pressure again.
