WDH on a HW296

Ive always ran a WDH on my HW296. Yesterday I decided to weigh the tongue and see what it is. The trailer in loaded as we always do before our trip. The front storage under the bench is completely full of our out door grill (not factory one), tables, chairs, games popup and etc. I'm empty on one tank of LP so it isn't my normal max. Any way I was socked to see just a notch over 500lb on the tongue. Ive always wondered if a WDH was warranted on a pop up and I'm defiantly glad I have it.
Anyone with a HW296 I strongly encourage you to get a WDH. My WDH is also a anti sway hitch.
Anyone else out there with a HW296? What are you using?
Thanks

i am not surprised. That is a big popup camper and fully loaded is close to 5000 lbs i.e. 3721 lbs dry + 1278 cargo = 4999 lbs and tongue weights should range between 10 - 15%, so 500 lbs is right at 10%.....

and the more stuff you put in front of the axles - the more that tongue will weigh. Where is the fresh water tank? was it empty? if it is in front of the axles and empty when you weighed it then you can be even a bit heavier on the tongue if you decide to travel with it full - something to think about as well.
