What Are These Things?

Just picked up a brand new 2021 Coachmen Clipper Express 12.0 last week. Love it!! What do you classify them as? It’s kind of a pop up, kind of an expandable, kind of its own unique thing.

Why do you need to put a label on it? It's a camper. Enjoy it

I'd call it a hybrid popup.

x2. It's a bit different than a traditional popup but a hybrid has tent bed platforms that deploy out. Your trailer has a canvas roof, like a popup.

Coachmen calls it a "popup" (Clipper 12.0TD XL Pop Up Campers by Coachmen RV). But depending on the dealer it may be called "folding popup" or "tent-style, pop-up hybrid".

Coachmen brochure calls it:

Clipper tent-style, pop-up hybrids feel much bigger inside, with a rear entry for easy access.Unlatch, and the struts automatically lift the roof into position.
