use mine to fill 5 gallon pails to wash the SXS after a trail run.
Not allowed in the park to take an outside shower.
Not everyone - just me.
Seems they frown on using it the same way as the inside shower.
Who knew?

Aways good to be able to shower off the sand from the beach before it gets tacked into the coach.

Yes, we like using the outside shower in our Rockwood mini lite 2109. We also use a portable shower tent that butts up next to the trailer, because the outside shower hose doesn’t extend very far from it’s base. We find that you have more room in the outside shower tent than you do inside the trailer shower! Plus, you don’t get all the humidity inside your trailer

I tried it once. Wearing a swimsuit. Created mud. But, I still like the idea. (Using a tote is a great suggestion.)
I carry a Sun Shower, which can be hung away from the rig. Great for quick wash-ups.

We've used it to wash the dogs. Also, to empty the fresh tank when sanitizing - instead of filling up the Grey tanks.

Not weird!

When we took the older trailer to our resort in Virginia, we could use the outdoor shower. The transient sites are very grassy, so we could wear flip-flops (and nothing else) and walk away clean, without muddy feet. We expect to use it the same way as we travel this summer.
Now that we have the Cherokee on a permanent site, we mostly use the shower house.

The fittings on all these shower hoses are the same. It's easy to replace the hose with a longer one.
Amazon has this one and this one both 8 feet long.

Kids? Outside shower to hose off and even shower off behind a little curtain! YES
We also have to rollup wooden walkways we put down that keep you out of the mud and dirt. Clean them up before they go inside... even if they are taking another shower inside.
Kids and water outside just seem to agree!
The wooden roll up slats are available at Northern Tool, Amazon and other places. Shop around. Some are ridiculous on their prices. NT is about $30 and you get two of them.

It is simply a pain in the ass during winterization and serves no real purpose for me.
When in a park with water I use a splitter on the faucet with a hose to clean boots and such. It provides much more water pressure, the shower is behind the regulator.
When boondocking, who would waste water like that? I keep my galley sink plugged to do dishes and it adds water when rinsing rinse. I keep my lavatory sink plugged as well to take a military bath. This way I am only using a sink full of water per day. I would never let a faucet run without capturing the water.

DW doesn't like doing dishes in the trailer. I bought a fish/game cleaning table that has a shallow sink built in. We have the drain go into a five gallon bucket and there is enough room for a small dish drying rack on the table. Works great for us. Haven't used it for showering.

Outside shower
We use it to wash up after levelling, and hooking up the electrcal, sewer etc. We leave a bar of soap in the shower compartment.

I've been thinking about getting a pop up shower tent!

If you’re camping in location you can’t use the outdoor shower naked without a tent then you aren’t really camping. [emoji23]
