Whole new top

Wife an I have a 2006 228 Fleetwood. The top gave way last year an totally ruined a planned 2 week chill an drink excursion . Was gonna rebuild the top myself but just ain't got the time or patience. Called FR they can build an send .e a new one. Question is has anyone ever done this an what's the cost.

I'm confused. Fleetwood is not a Forest River product.
Why would they have a new top for a brand they don't make?

Not an insurance claim just poor storage from pervious owner. The whole new top. Minus ac an vent. An Flagstaff not Fleetwood my bad. One of the lift arms went thru the roof. Upon examination it was rotten from the doorway all the way down that side. Around the ac hole an the vent area

Doesn't sound like you have many options (rebuilding) other than replacing. What did FR quote you for the replacement top?

They wanted the VIN. Didn't have it at the time I called. Posted here to see if anyone had went that route before. Gonna call again tomorrow an see if its worth going that way. Sure it will cheaper doing it myself. But I'm a truck driver not a camper mechanic lol
