And now there is one......

We lost 2 of our camp buddies. Robin, the siberian husky, and pudge,a 34 lb ragdoll cat. Robin had to be put down after haveing major siegure that she never came completely out of.She has been diabetic for about 5 years.Went completely blind a year later due to diabetes cataracts.A year later she had the surgery to remove the cataracts and restore her sight. She has always had epilepsy and small, short siegures, about 2 /year.We really did not ever think that thats what would get her in the end.She was 11 yrs old and ready to go camping whenever we did.
Pudge was 4 yrs old and had a stroke that left him paralized in his rear legs. This was only 2 days after Robins death. The two were best buddies.
Camelia, the aussie, is the sole survivor but she is 11 yrs old too.She is kind of amess too,but she will get over it.Those two were part of her "herd" and now everything is upside down for her. I do not think I ever connected with an animal the way I did with Robin. It was almost like she could read my mind. They will both be missed.

My condolences on the loss of 2 of your camping buddies. Even though they're no longer with you the memories of the great times spent together as a family will be with you always.

So sorry to hear this

It is always so hard to make those decisions. I am sure that you gave them a wonderful life and try to remember all the unconditional love they gave you in return!
