How many pet have you taken ? And where ?
We got our RV so we could take our furbabies. We have 6 (mom, dad and 4 pups ) they are Chihuahuas . Our first weekend trip we took 3 , mom dad and baby, Second time we took 4 pups (left mom and dad home for a break without the kids..) LOL . They all were pretty good except one pup didn't handle the ride too well. Got sick a couple times . Hubby said next time we go we will take all 6. I ordered a fenced yard from walmart so they can play outside while we are out with them.
Are there places you can go that we won't be frowned upon for taking that many ? Any suggestions for places ?

I can't see anyone getting upset about 6 wawa's long as they are cared for, behave, etc. Check with the campground and make sure they know the size and disposition of the pooches before going out.
I think off leash pets are the bigger issue than the number of them and even then I have rarely seen any rules enforced if the pooch is responsive to the owner.

I think most privately run RV places are more concerned about the size of a the dog(s) than how many. Next might be dogs that tends to bark too much during quiet hours. Probably calling a head before your arrival would be good idea. I know the parks we usually host at have very few pet restrictions, other than <6' leashes, and picking up after them. These places are probably the the exception to the rule on how many, or size. Since some locations have a few predators, both ground and air, I know some places recommend covers for out door pens for the safety of the smaller pets. The predator issue is also a big reason for the leash being 6' or less in length. We travel with two, 120lb + dogs, and have never had an issue with the RV places we stop at. We do our home work, and know which ones to avoid, and/or recommend.

We have recently learned and paid extra $$ for dogs at 2 campsites we visited. Just another consideration, if this is a new trend and if cost is a factor.

We've travelled with our PITA cat and never again. Not the way this thing pees all over since she's older and misses the litter tray.

We began bringing our Fred (imagine a doxy with an Irish Setter coat) "fid"...kid with fur....a couple of months ago. He continues to amaze us...he's taken to it like he's been doing this sine birth (7 years old).
He stays in the RV when we do day trips and when we (always) check with neighbors to see if he barked, we've been told "didn't even know y'all had a dog in your RV".
This weekend we're in Tampa Bay for a memorial for DH's ex MIL...didn't bring the RV. We're staying in a dog friendly La Quinta. They reserve the 3rd floor for pet owers. QQ! We were concernd with how Fred would adapt.
LOL he strolls through the lobby like he OWNs this place! The elevator spooked him, but only the first time. He's great with that now as well. They keep your cell # at the desk in case your pets is disruptive while you're out. We ask when we come back in....again....can't tell we have a pet in our room.
SO proud of this little guy.
(guy down the hall had his yellow lab with him....BARKed like crazy....he was "invitd to check out early".

We have two male Labs (see sig.) and they go everywhere we go. Obviously, our itineraries tend to favor places that are dog friendly and we rarely leave them unattended in the MH for more than an hour or two. We can't imagine leaving them at a boarding kennel while we go adventuring - they're family.
Between the two of them, they probably outweigh your six Chihuahuas. Bailey is about 60 pounds and Angus somewhere north of 75! He's a big lad. We got Bailey from the local Humane Society five years ago, when he was 4. After our elderly chocolate female died at 14, we got Angus through a Seattle area Pedigree Dog adoption agency when he was 8.

We bring our Mini Schnauzer with us on all trips. Her name is Strauss. Long story in the name, so I won't get into it. She goes about 18#. She barks to tell us of strangers, but under her breath. She loves our Micro-Lite 18 FBR, and sleeps endlessly!

We travel with our 7 mini schnauzers (Flash, Amy, Roger, Andrew, Osi, Joshua. & Valerie) and Sydney our cockatiel. They are great travelers, bunks hold their crates when we're traveling. We also travel with ex-pens. They have been all over New England, New York, as far south as Hilton Head Island and west to Purina Farms in Missouri.

She has been all over AZ, NV, ID, OR UT.
We never leave her home alone for long.

We've been camping with 3 Shelties since 2008. Out of the original 3 we still have one, but then we added 2 new ones when we lost the original 2. These 2 latest weren't "socialized" well (all have been or are Rescues) and we use a makeshift "pen" for them when we camp.
Lakewood Campground in Myrtle Beach has a limit, I believe. But like another poster stated, most private campgrounds/RV Resorts seem to be more concerned with breed/size.

We take our 2 Sadie (Boxer) & Lillie (Boxer Mix) and have had our sons Boxer but she has passed............ Never have had any issues but as others we do our homework as to where we stay...... Did see someone with 4 large greyhounds last summer........

Holy moly......we travel with our two miniature schnauzers and they keep us plenty busy.....can't imagine 7 even though they are darn cute and travel very well.
