New family member

On Saturday we rescued a 3 year old male brindle English Mastiff. He is currently underweight by 50 lbs. When he is healthy he should be around 170 lbs. He is our second Mastiff (who we lost on April 21, 2011). We are super happy to have him!

Love the mastiffs. Had 2 Neo's, a Brindle and a Blue, and a Brindle Old English. I always went for the smaller ones, 110-125lbs.

And it looks like you rescued him just in time. Laying on the floor he didn't look too bad, but that standing up picture by the cabinets, he looks emaciated. Great on you guys for getting him out of whatever situation he was in. And good luck.

Congrats on the new addition to your family. Our rescue recently celebrated her 1-year anniversary of becoming our doggie-daughter and we have absolutely loved every minute of it. These rescue dogs are amazing in the love that they give. You will be rewarded ten-fold!
