Rabies exemption certificate and campgrounds

We are new to RVing. My oldest mini schnauzer now has an exemption for his rabies vaccination from CT due to treatment foro lymphoma. A vast number of campgrounds want to see the rabies certificate, not a problem forl my other guys, they are vaccinated. Anyone have any experience with the waiver?

I have not, but you know to think about it, we have only been asked a few times for verification of this. Just in case though, we always bring a letter with us to show they are up to date with there shots and Rabies vaccinations. I think a letter from your Vet stating as to why the exemption was given, would be all you need. I would also have the Vet write in the letter, that Rabies shots were given to your dog until his(her) unfortunate illness. Hope this helps. I also hope your dog is doing much better. We have 2 pugs and I know how difficult it must have been for your beloved animal to have become ill. They are our family, which only animal lovers would know.

In the 4 years we took our dog camping with us we were never asked for his certificate. We always had it with use and were asked about it, but never had to show it.
