We have rescued 9 Shelties in the last 16 years. Most of our rescues have been middle aged when we adopt them. We currently have #'s 7,8 and 9 with the youngest being 6 and the oldest 9. Believe me, I know how it feels to loose a furkid. My heart breaks every time I read of someone's buddy passing on. I'm sure Carl the dog was the best ever. May he rest in peace.

Very sorry for your loss. I traveled the same road two months ago when my camping buddy went to join my wife.

Carl will forever be by your side. It will be a while before you see him again, but he will watch over you everyday.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We have 20 ash boxes on an old hope chest in our den. It never gets easier but the gift is the memories...

The hardest part of having a pet is saying goodbye. Our thoughts are with you. Smile and remember Baxter, he is there with you.
