Makes you wonder how some of these awesome dogs end up in shelters.
Good adoption for you! Sounds absolutely lovable.

She was only 3 or 4 months old when I got her - had just arrived at the shelter, and the attendant told me the owner of the bitch had been unable to give her away. I read somewhere that totally black dogs are the least desirable for adopters at these shelters, and I have no idea why! my only problem is when she's outside at night, I can't see her! - have to look for the eyeballs!

Get 'er one of those flashing LED small ball tags for her collar. They have 'em at Bass Pro.

Our oldest dog is stone deaf. At night when she's in the back yard we've worked out a "light call" for her. Just sweep the Stinger flashlight across the back yard and here she comes. She's a solid black cocker, except for the grey on her muzzle and face now.

My Daisy Pickles. The three year old wanted to name her Pickles. When asked why, he said, "Because Pickles are green." We'll ask him to explain that when he's older.

New Golden Puppy!

Here's our newest Golden - Tessa. She was born May 4th so that makes her exactly 12 weeks old today!

You can see that her and Murphy get along fine, too. She's camped two weeks with us so far this summer. Camping tuckers her out.

No. I think you should give her to me.

Our previous dog was a golden....they are great dogs. It was too hard to get another golden this last time after the loss of our other 1, so we settled on a golden doodle.

My kids would disown me. But, I know the breeder in case you're looking for a companion for Sango .

Thanks RVChick! You should have seen the walks through the campground. We couldn't go 20 feet without people asking to pet her. Tessa's a magnet.

Ttrost65's picture did not do our pups justice! Here is a better picture of Barley, Nala Jane and Princess. I'm sure most of you in Goshen have met them by now.
