Lola as co-pilot. Katie asleep on my husband's lap and Lola in her dog hammock. And Lola and foster dog Nellie (she's since been adopted) on the dinette turned dog bed rolling down the road.
One reason we wanted an RV was to make travel with the dogs easier and they are quite happy with our purchase.

Dudley Sue the Anatolian Shepherd. She is our security hound. Nothing flies, walks, or moves in the 10 acres around the house.

Buttercup the 1/2 Pyrenees 1/2 Blood Hound. Basically nothing more than a lawn fertilizer as you can tell by the picture.

Sasha the Siberian Husky. She is our new baby. Had her a month. She is still learning when to pee and poo and not to bite daddy's leg when layin' on the bed. It was a hard lesson.

And then there is Sophie....God rest her soul. She was with us for 10 years and recently passed.

This is our friends' new litter of babies. And...a picture of the daddy. I'm SO in love with these puppies! My heart says we *need* one, but my brain says "what are you going to do with a "house horse" in that 5er? The pics of the babies are when they were 2 weeks/5 days old. (now 3 weeks 3 days old) The pic of them in the crate is their first trip to vet last Thursday: all 8, weighed in at 4.5 to 4.9 lbs. each!

Daddy's name is....drum roll....MOOSE!

Breed: Old English Mastiff

It's amazing how gentle and *careful* these giants are. Our friends in FL have had great danes for years....always INSIDE dogs. She had Ming China vases sitting on display and the great danes were "mindful" of their tails as they moved around the house...not once did they knock anything over or break anything.

"Moose" is still just in his "terrible twos", weighs right at 200 lbs. and thinks he's a lap dog. BTW, in that pic where he's lying stretched out....that's a queen sized mattress set....in HIS room. Being still so young, he has left bruises on her thigh from WHACKIN' her with his tail....heck, the base of his tail is bigger than my wrist! But both Moose and his "significant other" (Callie)have six acres to run on there...plenty of exercise space.

scayne,

Does Gemini "sit" like a human on sofas? Those great danes did, as does Moose and Callie....butts on the sofa cushions with both front paws on the floor.

Yes he does and also thinks our laps are ok for sitting as well. He is a good dog just a little simple and a BIG baby about EVERYTHING!

How long or how many takes did it take you to get this picture? I'm impressed even the cat sat for the picture. Cute fur babies

I'm thinkin' not long at all if the picture-taker had the camera in one hand and BACON! in the other.

BACON! results in undivided attention around here, as soon as I cut the package open.

With our two dogs one holds the point position (the cocker) up close and not moving....Fred (the weenie/pom) has her six....back just around the corner of the snack bar.

I would guess the cat is the BOSS and told the mutts to "sit down and shut up."
