2012 Sabre Tires

Following up from an earlier post, we are about finalize the deal on a 2012 34-reqs. The question is: I replaced the tires on my current unit less than 500 miles ago so they are basically new. The tires on the Sabre is a name I do not recognize (and not sure how to pronounce). Does anybody know if these are quality, non-quality tires or am I better off taking the tires off my camper and putting therm on the new one. Thanks.

Do you have 15" or 16" tires on your new Sabre?

Have a 2012 Sabre 31 RETS-6. The tires on my Sabre are Akuret Load Range E 16". Chinese I think. They are distributed by a company in Memphis,http://www.delnat.com/, or that is what I have found out so far. This was info I found from another forum, Akuret, the trailer tires are actually mfg by Guizhou Tire Co., Guiyang, China. I think I will run them for one season then replace with Maxxis.

These are the same tires on my Columbus. No experience with them, yet. Spent all my money on the trailer, can't afford new tires.
Keep them at 80 psi, check the lug nuts and keep a close eye on them in your travels.
My first set of China bombs on my Sabre bubbled up in less than a year. My second set made it two years with no problems and my third set were 16" and have made it for 1 1/2 year with no problems...knock on wood. It will be interesting to see how these Akuret do on my Columbus.

Good to know. I'm waiting for my new 34REQS-6 to come in. Should be within the next two weeks. So I'll keep an eye on these cheap Chinese tires.
