2013 SOLAIRE 297 RLDS with major issues

We have a 6 month old tt. We purchased it to be snowbirds in Florida. Took it out camping for 3 weeks in Indiana and everything seemed fine. There were a few minor issues but the dealer took care of it. Then we went to Florida. The LED awning lights half worked and the awning is a pitched awning and that is not functioning. It has been in the shop twice for warranty work and water issues. It is now going back for the third time because the dining/living room slideout has a major issue, the floor has separated from the wall, and there is a 3-4 inch gap. We have filled the gap with grocery bags to avoid any unwanted guests. The kitchen faucet (temporary one installed) wouldn't shut off and the front electrical jacks are broke. Dometic had to send a tech out to repair the cooling unit in our fridge..we lived in a ice chest for 6 days The dealer we took it too from repairs were not going to touch the slideout until they talked to Forest River and if we didn't have the help of our dealer and the rep at the repair facility, not sure where we would be. Our dealer has been great and I can't say enough about him. But I have a feeling this trailer will be going back to Indiana, even though that wasn't the plan.I will keep you posted on how this all goes.

2013 Solaire update

As of today we received a email from Palomino that they are going to pick up our trailer in Florida. They are arranging a transport. There have been more issues with the trailer and we told them we didn't want it back. We would choose another Forest River product. Forest River wanted the dealer in Florida to remove the sagging wall and reseal it. We would not see the trailer for 2-3 weeks. And then we would close up the trailer and leave it in Florida and come back to what? A gross adhesive smell. Not acceptable. They asked me what I wanted and I told them to pick it up. So now we will see what they are going to do once it gets back to Michigan. This was our 3rd Palomino product and the first two were great.

So what did you replace it with?
John and Rebecca Dickson
Emma-7 / Little John-5 / Iva-1
Full Timing Again, Rev B
2013 Ford F-350 Lariat CC LB PSD
2015 SOB TT - With OC's Awning Poles (#8)
At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

We haven't replaced it yet. We received our money back and for now we are still deciding.
It was such a debacle and so many warranty issues and waaaay too much conversation.
